The first part of the day is built around defining opportunities and challenges in the context of the existing business model. Creative thinking techniques, structured idea generation processes and business model innovation tools are employed to examine the issue from a range of perspectives. The team proceeds to design new business model scenarios, evaluate and refine the ideas generated.

IDEAS ENGINE comprises a pre-workshop consultation and a one-day on-site workshop. During the workshop, the team will work together to map the existing business model and environment, create outline customer profiles, brainstorm and carry out structured idea generation, map new business model scenarios and refine them for testing and validation after the workshop.
